Farm Stay Inn at Blackbird Farm is a Mendocino County Self-Certified Covid-Safe Business. We have implemented sanitation protocols and on-site stay protocols in compliance with CA State, County and lodging association recommendations, to keep our guests, staff and local communities as safe and healthy as possible!
Knockanure
There are two sides to our Knockanure Cabin each with a private entrance; Cabin A is ADA accessible. Our newest cabin, each side of Knockanure features lots of natural light, a king and queen bed, mini fridge, tea kettle, fireplace, jetted tub, and an outdoor shower.
Shepherd's Green
There are two sides to our Shepherd's Green cabin that are identical in set up and have private entrances. As our more rustic cabin, each side of Shepherd's Green features two queen beds, a brick fireplace, hardwood floors, tea kettle, and a mini fridge.
Poleeko Yurt
Our Poleeko Yurt takes you back to your camp days! This glamping experience features six sets of twin bunk beds and has an attached restroom with three toilet stalls and three shower stalls. In accordance with Mendocino County Public Health Order, we are only renting the yurt to one household unit per stay.
A complimentary breakfast delivery is included in your stay. For lunch and dinner, inquire about using our Outdoor Kitchen or check out visitmendocino.org for a list of local restaurants.

Picture a rolling meadow, horses gently graze on the grass, a rooster crows through the morning dew. Indulge in a homemade farm breakfast and coffee in our 100 year old farmhouse and take a stroll through an old growth Redwood forest. This is Farm Stay Inn of Philo, California. Our mission is to produce whole, organic foods to feed our staff and guests, treat our animals and property with respect and kindness, and to create a beautiful and relaxing experience for you and your guests. We have a Certified Organic produce garden, happy free range chickens that produce delicious eggs and a small herd of East Friesian Sheep that give us sheep milk.
Farm Stay Inn offers educational tours of the property and nine handsome horses for rides through the beautiful woods of Northern California. Stay in one of our four cozy cabins, available for double occupancy, or in one of our two lovely Farm House bedrooms. Two yurts are available for larger groups. We have 250 acres of property and a refurbished barn to host your next event.
